Several important project milestones happened in March 2024, spanning the Bay Area:

• In downtown Belmont, folks have begun moving into The Hayden (developed by Carmel Partners), a 177-apartment project within steps of the Caltrain station.
• In Oakland, two projects have broken ground: 3050 International (by SAHA & NAHC) will colocate 76 affordable family homes over a medical clinic and cultural center; and East 12th (by EBALDC & The Unity Council) will bring nearly 100 affordable and permanent supportive homes to the shores of Lake Merritt.
• Last but not least, the 71-home Cypress Point (MidPen Housing) was unanimously approved by the San Mateo County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.
