Peter Waller, AIA
Principal (510) 465-7010 x110
For more than 20 years, Peter has been leading the design of large-scale multifamily housing developments for PYATOK. Drawn to urbanism and high-density, he offers expertise in mixed-use, adaptive re-use in both affordable and market rate housing with a focus on creating transit-oriented developments that result in more livable and sustainable communities. Peter's first priority on any project is to uncover solutions that relate to the larger community and create strong connections to the public realm. He especially values community based design projects that solicit input from community members to help drive the appropriate outcomes for future residents and neighbors.

Peter regularly engages in housing issues on a policy level. Peter contributes his insights and perspective to debates over affordable housing and urban development and speaks about the need for transit-oriented development through task forces, speaking engagements, and pro bono projects with EBHO (East Bay Housing Organizations) and NPH (Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California.

Peter is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, College of Environmental Design.
