Sarah joined PYATOK in July 2012 after completing her B.Arch from California Polytechnic State University. Thus far, Sarah has been a team asset bringing relentless optimism to project teams and has been a critical member on the Avalon Dogpatch Market Rate Development; the former Opera Warehouse site at 800 Indiana Street in San Francisco. Sarah also serves as a leader on the firm’s internal Skull Session Committee, Revit User Group, and PYATOK’s office redesign. For the past two years, she has been instrumental in encouraging staff involvement in the Oakland Running Festival, adding a new angle to the firm’s competitive edge or more simply, promoting staff to be active.
Prior to graduating, Sarah served as the Student Representative to the AIA Central Coast Chapter, founded the AIA Students Cuesta College Chapter, and later became the President of the AIA Students Cal Poly Chapter. Concurrently while in school she was employed as the Cal Poly College of Architecture and Environmental Design Dean's Intern and the Team Manager of the Cal Poly Green Campus Program; a team of students funded to outreach, design, and implement water and energy saving projects on the Cal Poly campus.
