Bringing more than 25 years of experience, Amy has expertise in all aspects of accounting, financial forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control. For the past 12 years, Amy has provided leadership and collaboration in monitoring project profitability, budgeting costs, administering HR benefits and performance reviews, increasing office health and ergonomics, presenting quarterly financials, and supporting ownership transition.

Amy is passionate about nature and the environment. As a member of the PYATOK Sustainable Practices committee, she helped to increase the office’s environmental practices, culminating in PYATOK's becoming an Alameda County Certified Green Business. She has also enjoyed contributing to her community by volunteering in East Oakland as a Writer Coach at Fremont High, as Treasurer for a local non-profit that promotes environmental awareness through art, and by helping out with PYATOK's many Rebuilding Together Oakland home renovation projects.

Amy holds a B.A. in English Literature from Barnard College (Columbia University), a Certificate in Landscape Horticulture from Merritt College, and has taken courses in accounting theory, economics, income tax preparation, and business analysis.
