Ray Reedy
Designer (510) 465-7010 x133

Ray joined PYATOK in 2016, drawn to the office’s role in improving lives through socially responsible architecture.  In college, Ray spent a year abroad at the University of Botswana where he, among other things, learned about the challenges of international humanitarian design as a volunteer with Architecture for Humanity. During graduate studies at the University of Oregon, Ray developed an interest in collaborative community initiatives by leading design-build projects with students and community members. After relocating to the Bay Area, he also worked as a construction crew leader with Habitat for Humanity, Greater San Francisco. Though he is excited about all project phases, Ray continues to be interested in construction and currently works on Construction Administration for multiple projects in the office.

A LEED Green Associate, Ray is committed to the sustainable design of urban environments.  He leads the office’s Green Team Committee, encouraging more ambitious sustainable solutions and advancing a sustainable office culture.  In his spare time, Ray designs and builds furniture, cooks, and enjoys the outdoors.
