Gabrielle Pearce
Designer (510) 465-7010 x139

Gabrielle is a Designer at PYATOK.

Her work is informed by her past experiences in urban design, where she focused on diverse topics including disaster mitigation planning for the Mississippi River Delta, design strategies for the chronically homeless in the Bay Area, branding for flagship university campuses in the Pacific Northwest, and landscape architecture for Governor’s Island in New York City.

Her background working with the Obama Foundation and Meals on Wheels have informed her focus on designing urban space to serve young people and the elderly in her Oakland community. She spends much of her free time attending Planning Commission meetings at the City of Oakland and panel discussions at the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association, where she is a member.

Gabrielle is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana where she spent time working in Mardi Gras float design and production and volunteering with underserved youth through Project Pipeline, a design camp that exposes underserved young people in urban cities to architecture design.

Gabrielle studied at Virginia Tech’s Washington-Alexandria Architecture Consortium and Louisiana State University, from which she holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree.
