A Senior Designer at PYATOK, Parisa demonstrates a deep commitment to community-engaged architecture and urban design.  Passionate about creating livable, inclusive, and affordable housing for all, Parisa has focused her career on multifamily housing in the U.S. and Iran. Working for nearly a decade in architectural design in Tehran, she is invested in the unique cultural heritage of her city.  Parisa values a participatory community approach to development that celebrates local lifestyles while also allowing for urban evolution. In 2016, Parisa moved to the U.S. to pursue a Master of Urban Design at UC Berkeley.  For her thesis “A Future for the Past,” a vision for revitalizing a low-income neighborhood in the historic core of Tehran, Parisa earned a Student Merit Award from Congress for the New Urbanism.  

Parisa holds a MUD from University of California, Berkeley, an M. Arch from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, and a B. Arch from Azad University in Tehran.  She has been published in The Urban Book Series and The International Conference on Urban Change in Iran.  Parisa is an enthusiast of the arts and music and enjoys the challenge of learning a new skill, like her latest hobby, rock climbing.
