TubeMogul is located inside The Thoroughbred Building in Emeryville. The Thoroughbred Building was a conversion of a 1927 warehouse into office spaces, designed by PYATOK in 1997. Part of the building was demolished to provide for parking and the adjacent railroad spur which had served the west (loading) side of the building became a parking court with parallel parking on both sides. Wall to wall pavers, street trees and entry stoops with steel canopies created the feel of a European pedestrian streetscape with an industrial twist.
Interior private offices lining the south wall were demolished in order to light up the interior open work space, replacing them with shared spaces for use by all, including casual meeting spaces, a glass conference room, a kitchen and lunch room with direct access to the dining terrace, and a game room adjoining the lunch room. The dining terrace occupies the sunny southwest corner of the building, sheltered from the street by flowering vines.
