Since joining PYATOK in 2014, Hannah has cultivated experience in all phases of multifamily housing design for a variety of building types and scales. She has been an integral team member for projects ranging from market-rate residential campuses in San Francisco and Pleasanton to affordable infill on Oakland’s International Boulevard. Hannah recently oversaw the completion of The Laureate, a 122-bed student housing project in Berkeley, where she made significant contributions in every project phase, from interior and exterior design, detailing, and materials research to construction administration.

Hannah holds a BA in Architecture and a minor in Architectural Engineering from the University of San Francisco. The school’s emphasis on social justice has informed her own exploration of architecture and the built environment as interfaces for equity building, storytelling, and placemaking. Hannah’s passion for design extends into academic research and pedagogy, where she has led multidisciplinary teams working at the intersection of science, design, and engineering, and leading to three peer-reviewed publications in top-tier academic journals. Her design work has been featured at the de Young Museum, SFMOMA, and the Thacher Gallery.
